9 months out!!

Dax spent nine months in the belly and has now spent nine months out of the belly!! I don't know his stats or what percentile he's in like I did with the other boys because I haven't taken him back to the Dr. Since his 1 month check up I'm not sure why but I'm just not comfortable giving him a million shots and he seems to be growing and developing just fine.

Grizzly's Rule

Dillon got his "Bear" badge and the best part is I didn't have to hound him to do it, he did it all with his awesome leaders Chad & Brandi Fairchild. They did a lot of fun things with the boys but Dillon's favorite was when they built a go cart! Good job Dillon!

Kicking off the season!!

Here we go again! I absolutely love this time of year, when it starts cooling down enough for the boys to be outside! And I love watching this boy play soccer! He did awesome today scoring 2 points for his team! I think it's funny that they don't keep score but Degan does!

Say Cheese

I've been meaning to post about Grandma moving to Reno to live with Ronda, but I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole situation, I'm still trying to make sense of it all and how people can be so mean. I feel so bad for Grandma being forced to leave her home.

Preschool....Where a kid can be a kid!

Today was Dustin's turn to head off to preschool! He was super excited to go to Ms. Lynnette's for school, Degan helped him pick out his outfit so he'd look "awesome" and than he had to wait for school to start!!

Degan decided that he felt good enough to go to school today, so he put on his favorite outfit that had been laying out for two days and off he went! By the time he got home he didn't look so good and started running a fever again that night and was out the rest of the week.

FYI: he was happy that a girl named Angeel was in his class!!

a Mover & a Shaker!!

8 months old

Dax is officially on the move! he's been getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth for a few weeks now and did a few nose dives before he finally got it all figured out and is now chasing us around!! At 8months he likes his Daddy to put him to sleep, it's funny how as soon as Darin gets him he instantly snuggles in and goes to sleep, he still thinks he needs to be held ALL THE TIME, he likes to play on the kindle & I-Pad! and his favorite thing is to listen to Dillon play Peter-Peter-Pumpkin-Eater! It's hard to believe that you are already 8 months old! We really need to get busy and baby proof the house!!

Back 2 School!!

The boys were ready & excited to go back to school especially when they found out who their teachers would be, I was relieved that they both got good teachers and sisters to boot!! Dillon got Mrs. May again & Degan got Mrs. Brooks! I will miss the carefree days of summer but am ready for a routine again, it is always a little stressful the first few weeks but oh so nice once we get into the groove of things!

Dad brought breakfast home from Jack in the Box and would you know it we haven't been sick all summer long and Degan wakes up with a fever on the morning of the first day of school, he was so bummed cause he really wanted to see what girls were in his class! Dillon reported that he liked his class and that 4th grade was awesome!!

And we're gonna watch Casey & Katie get married!! yes Darin & I feel old now that little Casey is getting married, but we couldn't be happier for him! he's turned into a fine young man who will be very successful in this life!! Congrats Casey & Katie!

Girls Night Out

We had our annual high school girls night out! We've decided that every year one of us will take a turn & plan an evening out! This year Shay was in charge so we met at my house and ate lunch and chit chatted, drove to St. George and chit chatted some more than got some mani pedi's, did some retail therapy, ate at pizza factory and than cruised out to Tuachan and watched Hairspray! It was such a fun night & just what a bunch of mom's needed a night away from the kids! I am a little sad that we didn't get to sit and go through our yearbooks, but not sad that we skipped hanging out at the park in 100 degree weather to look at them!! There's always next year and I'm already looking forward to our spa day Tiff!!

Change is Good

We've been thinking about short selling our house for a while now, we just haven't been brave enough to do it cause we LOVE our house and the area we're in. Darin listens to a talk radio show on his way to work every Sunday and every sunday he'd call me and try to convince me to sell and somehow we'd never do it even though it made total sence to sell. One sunday in mid July the guy said something that helped Darin make his mind up real fast and I was calling Clea that next Monday! To make a long story short Clea came over Thursday the 26th of July listed it on Saturday the 28th for $269,000.00 had just a handful of people come look at it and had two offers in by Monday the 30th! Clea & Scarlet came over Tuesday to present the offers, Scarlet's offer from Randon Adams was a cash deal for $255,000.00 & Clea's offer from Kevin & Diana Walker was for $260,000.00. I totally wanted the Walker's to have it, they loved our basketball court and I could see Kevin out there playing ball with his kids! But you just can't compete with a cash deal and Clea said to me: "Tami this is a business you have to set your personal feelings aside and do what's best for the Jones family" So we went with Randon & Audrey Adams! They have been living in the in-law headquarters at Wes & Shelly's and have been looking for quite awhile for a house within his mom's ward boundaries & close to the ranch. I've had a change of heart and am happy we chose to go with them they will be able to make this house into something amazing and I can't wait to drive by and check it out!!
