Hey Everyone

Hey, I've been slacking a bit on my blogging but I've been a little wrapped up the the third Twilight book Eclipse!! and honestly blogging isn't the only thing I've been slacking on (my poor house) but I must say I can't decide if the third was as good as the first, but I can't wait to read the fourth!! I've never been much of a reader but I've really enjoyed these books and think I might have found a new hobby!!!

My Baby Boy

How do you know it's time to give your baby boy a haircut?? When people at the grocery store say what a cute little GIRL you have!! I was sad to see the little curls go, but love the bowl cut I think he looks cute either way!!
Dustin has discoverd his nostrils!! and his ear holes (sorry no pics of that!) lately he likes to just sit and stick his finger up his nose or in his ears and he'll laugh & laugh, it's pretty funny to watch it makes me wonder what's going through his head!!

Speech Therapy!!

This story is funny to Darin & I and I just want to record it so we remember. So I took Degan to his three year check up with his pediatrician Dr. Kaduu back in October, and the Dr. is doing his usual exam making him jump up and down, hop on one foot, asking him a bunch of questions and the Dr. kept looking at me for answers cause for some reason he couldn't understand what Degan was telling him?? I'm not thinking anything is unusual, alot of kids don't announcieat their words and are hard to understand. Well the Dr. begins to talk to me and tells me that between the age 2 1/2 & 3 a child's vocabulary really picks up and you should be able to carry on a conversation and understand at least 75% of what a child says, and he continues on being very nice, I can't really understand what Degan is saying you might want to think about putting him in a speech therapy program. In my head I'm thinking What??? I understand almost everything he says!! On the way home I'm telling Darin and remember that his nursery teacher is a speech therapist and decide I'm going to ask her on Sunday cause who would know better than a speech therapist and she's been around him, So on Sunday I'm thinking she's going to tell me No he's fine, it's normal for three year olds to be hard to understand, but no she very nicely said you know it wouldn't be a bad idea, he's not as bad as some and he would probably benefit with a little help!! and than gave me all the info I needed to get him started. Darin & I had a good laugh and figure hey it's free why not. Today was his first class and he was sooo excited to go, when I went to pick him up he was a little disappointed he didn't get any candy well a lot disappointed he threw his backpack on the floor when we got home and pouted. But I'm thankful for a good Dr. who isn't scared to point out what he sees. But I still think Degan talks cute even if nobody can understand him!!

Finally Walking!!

Dusty Boy has FINALLY decided to start walking!! He's really taken off this last week. He thinks he's pretty cool especially when he turns around in a circle! and he tries to keep up with his brothers by running! It's pretty funny to watch! (he sometimes looks like a drunk little midget) Dustin has been my latest walker at almost 14 mo.- Dillon walked at 10 mo.- Degan walked at 12 mo. Darin thinks it's because he was so spoiled, cause we'd pick him up & carry him whenever he'd reach out for us, so I guess it's true the baby of the family does get really spoiled! But can you blame me I'm just trying to enjoy the baby stage just a little longer!!!

Swimming in January???

Dillon my little fish!!
Hangin' out with Grandma Smith!!

My Boys love going to Grandma & Grandpa Smith's! they love it even more when Mom & Dad have errands to run and drop them off to spend an afternoon. Degan rades all the candy bowls around the house!! & Dillon loves to swim!! (he always gets Grandma to take them swimming!!) My Mom & Verl have an indoor pool so the boys get to go swimming all year long and they LOVE it!! I'm sure that's not the only reason why they love to go, there's a lot of spoiling that goes on in that house. they always leave with something and are immediately planning the next trip to St. George!! So Thank You Mom for spoiling my boys! You are the best Mom & Grandma, We Love You!!
