Thanksgiving Program

Afternoon Kindergarten
Little Indian Boys I guess it's tradition for the kindergarten to do a little Thanksgiving Program, It was so cute to see all the kids dressed up as Pilgrims & Indians, they did a good job singing all the songs. Dillon was excited for his Dad to see him do the Indian dance, he kept telling Darin I'm gonna do a dance in the program but I can't show you now so it'll be a surprise!! I could tell he was excited for that part to come cause he had the biggest grin and was skipping extra high to show off for his Dad. Dillon also liked his costume and asked me: Do you think Mrs. Hardy will let me keep my costume so I can wear it for the next Halloween??? Good Job Dillon We Love You

1 Project Down 100 To Go!!

Dillon & Conrad working hard!! Finally one project is done!! The free child labor was great but we had to call in reinforcements!! (notice the big tractor!) There was no way we would've been able to move all that dirt by hand so many many thank yous to Conradoe Backhoe Services!!

Child Labor!!

Neighbor kids kicking dirt around the tramp!!
Working Hard!!We ran our own little sweat shop today!! What are the child labor laws?? With Thanksgiving coming soon and all the kids that will be at our house, getting the tramp in the ground was our project for Darin's days off! The Neighbor kids came over to watch a movie with the boys and Darin & I were outside putting the sheet metal around the outside of the tramp. I guess the movie wasn't very entertaining cause one by one they all lingered outside! Lucky for us we got some Free Labor! they were having a blast running on the hill of dirt knocking it down to fill in the hole, once they got that side filled in they grabbed the shovels and started filling up the wheelbarrow to fill in the other side!! It was hilarious Darin & I couldn't stop laughing. At one point one of them asked if we were going to pay them and Darin asked how much do you charge an hour? they answered $98. It's a good thing they didn't make us pay or we'd be broke!! It's true "many hands make light work", so thank you to: Summer, Carli, Alyson, Richard, Thayne, & My Boys for the FREE LABOR

Flashback Friday

Pajama Party!! This is one of my favorite pictures of all my boys together. They are all in their matching Christmas PJ'S. Daddy's Pet Peeve!!

Leaving his Mark!! This post is for all of Darin's brothers & sisters to get a good laugh!! For those of you who don't know Darin he's a bit of a perfectionist and he likes his things to be nice & clean, especially his stainless steel appliances!! You can't tell very well on the picture but Dustin's little hand prints are all over the freezer, and it absolutely drives Darin CRAZY to see all those fingerprints on his stainless steel refrigerator!! He's made the comment a time or two "Would you teach YOUR kids to keep their hands off the fridge" (like I created them all by myself) and all I do is laugh and say: I TOLD YOU SO!! I remember having a conversation when we were picking out appliances and I told him it was going to drive him crazy!! I Love You Honey!!

Kindergarten Creations!!

Dillon with all his projects!! Dillon has only been in school for a little over 2 months and has filled up his cork board with lots & lots of projects! He loves doing crafts and is so excited to show & tell us what he created in school that day! We took everything down today and he was allowed to only keep two of his favorites, I could tell he was having a hard time deciding cause he kept trying to talk me into keeping more than two or he'd say "I think Dad really likes that one I think He wants to keep it!!" I think he ended up with 4, but hey that's a lot better than keeping them all!! We're so glad Dillon is liking school and we love to see how proud he is of his Kindergarten Creations!!

Breaking The Law

Well I'm sum what proud to say that I'm 30 years old and never received a ticket until yesterday and thanks to Officer Mayer. Here's the story: I was dropping Dillon off at school and on my way home by the fair ground parking lot I notice that a HP is headed my way so I look at my gauge and I'm going 25, thinking I'm OK cause I'm at the 35mph sign, no such luck he flips on his lights & siren and pulls me over. He comes to my window & asks for all my info. Just my luck I was in a hurry and didn't grab my purse! I go to get the Ins. & Registration and notice Darin's Gun is sitting on top of it, so I tell the officer my husband works for the police dept. and his hand gun is in the car, I pull the gun out along with his badge and the guy reaches into my car and grabs the gun from me, and yells Unbelievable which scared me and made me a little nervous. He goes to his car and then returns and begins to lecture me about having a weapon on school property and says what if I would have shot you cause you were waving that gun around. so I say I wasn't waving the gun around I was just letting you know my husband's gun was in the car and he raises his voice and says do you think this is a joke, I could arrest you right now and take you to jail, is there someone you can call to come get your kid, I'm serious is there someone you can call (I had Degan with me) I begin to well up and respond I don't have my cell phone. He walks off and Degan asks: Is that man mad at you? He goes and writes me a ticket for speeding in a school zone and not having my license. I have to appear in court in Jan. so I'm hoping Lanny will have mercy on me cause I'm pleading NOT GUILTY for speeding I wasn't in the school zone & even if I was the sign says 15mph when kids are present & their were no kids in sight. Another funny thing is he flashed his lights at my SIL Ann five minutes before he pulled me over so it should have been her ticket!!! OH well it was a memorable 40 minutes!!!
