Obsessed

Dustin has a serious obsession with Dillon's I-touch and his Daddy's phone! He knows how to brows through the apps to find what he wants and can get on them! He steals them off the charger and will go hide and watch netflix or u-tube! If he spots one laying around not being used he snatches it up and refuses to share! He gets ticked off when the battery dies and he's in the middle of a show! He even falls asleep watching it! and when you ask him what he wants for his B-day or Christmas he tells you he wants an I-Touch!!

15 Years Later!!

OK, so this technically wasn't a high school reunion but I did graduate high school with these girls "15" years ago! (I know hard to believe) But I've known them much longer than that! I know there history, I've shared good times, crazy times, and hard times with them. We've laughed and cried together. I've seen them each become wives and mothers. And they are still just as beautiful and fun!! I feel truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and can't wait for the next "reunion"!!

Gone Fishing

After Darin's long work week he promised the boys he would take them out to the lake to do some fishing! So we did just that on thursday evening we made our way out to stuart's point and had a lot of casting practice! even though the kids didn't catch any fish they still had fun! The sun started to set so we headed for home and ran into rangers & police officers who were doing an investigation on a rollover accident, they said it wouldn't take very long maybe an hour and a half, so we headed to echo bay for a scary walk down the dock, and well two movies and  three hours later they finally let us through.

Do Not Disturb

I love finding my kids taking naps, they look so sweet & innocent! and I love it even more finding them takeing a nap with their dad! So Sweet!

Happy Birthday America

This years 4th of July was pretty low key, I took the kids to the fairgrounds bright & early so they could enjoy all the local fun!!

Sunday's Chaos

I'm not sure why but Sunday mornings are not easy for us, they are filled with me yelling, threatening, sending kids to their rooms, and even sometimes spankings are given.. Today was no different only Degan decided to pack his bags and walk all the way to his Aunt Annie's house in Overton. As Darin & Dillon sat and watched him out the window Dillon's eyes began to tear up and he went running after him to bring him back home!! While I definitely don't deserve the mother of the year award Dillon is an amazing brother and truly cares about his brothers and we are so lucky to have him in our family!!

Bundyville

Last night we spent the night on Mt. Trumbull with a bunch of Bundy's for the Bundy family reunion! Even though it was a little toasty and crazy dirty we enjoyed our time on the mountain! Dustin loved the playground and wanted to spend all his time there! Dillon got a few lessons from Uncle Clayton and learned how to rope! Degan & Canyon did a little break dancing at the talent show! A few forts were built and the older boys packed a tent without poles and had to sleep in the great outdoors!!

The Merry-Go-Round was a favorite until poor little Dustin was thrown from it and they all got hurt one by one then it became "The Death Wheel"

And than the event we went up there for, the ever famous Bundy Races! Dustin did NOT want to race and cried the whole way to his dad! Degan did awesome and got 2nd! and Dillon's age group had a re-match and I missed the announcement but he was happy with an otter pop!!

California or Bust

To my kids the KOA is like a trip to Disneyland!! in fact I think if they had the choice they would choose the KOA over Disneyland! They look forward to it all year long and love being able to spend all day long outdoors playing with their cousin's at the park or at the pool!!

This year we headed to Legoland on our free day! It was crowded and some of the lines were a little long, but we managed to have a good time! and all the things made out of Lego's are always cool to see!

We went to a few restaurants that we've seen on "Diners, Drive Ins, & Dives" they were both really good and we'd eat there again! Darin was going to get a burger made out of gator and when he saw the price of $16 he chickened out and had a yummy Hawaiian burger instead!!

Of course you can't go to Cali and not make a trip to the beach or to see the bird guy at the pier! This year both Degan & Dustin surprised me at the beach, they LOVED it! when in the past they wouldn't go near the water because it was to cold!!

On the way home we had the "Best Potty Break Ever" according to Tayia! we stopped by Buffalo Bills to enjoy the free rides for Nevada residents!!

The Toothless Wonder

It's no secret that Degan is my active kid, in fact that's one of the things I love most about him! Well he's so active that he bumped his front teeth one to many times and created an abscess, so the dentist recommended pulling his front two teeth. He was so excited (strange I know) for the tooth fairy to come visit him and leave him money to spend in California!! He was a trooper and did good for Dr. Hughes!! and believe it or not I think he looks even cuter with his front teeth missing!!

9 week ultrasound

Was Darin's response when I came out of the bathroom with a positive pregnancy test! and than asked how reliable a dollar store pregnancy test really is?? Needless to say we were both in total shock and it took us a few days (actually weeks)  to wrap our heads around the fact that we were going to be parents again! We kept the news to ourselves until after the ultrasound and told the boys with some fortune cookies that said: "A new little person will be joining the family" "A brother or sister what will it be?" & "You will no longer be the baby of the family" Degan was immediately excited and said he wants a sister! We'll see, a girl would be fun but we'll take what we get and we're good at making boys!!

The Cougars!

Degan's T-ball season is finally over! He had so much fun learning how to play & sliding into home! even though he did get distracted quit often and ended up playing in the dirt, but what can I say it's just not a fast enough paced sport for him! Dad & I enjoyed watching you play and had a few good laughs! for example: At one of the games you couldn't get your throw & step to coordinate and it would take you FOREVER to throw the ball, It was so funny!! Dad loved it when you would slide into home! and I loved watching you run the bases with your big old batting helmet on, and how you thought your team won every game! Good Job Buddy!

That's How We Roll!!

We Finally got a much needed second set of wheels!! The boys & I are enjoying not being stuck at home in the evenings and we're looking forward to a comfy ride to Cali this year!! Thanks Cord & LeAnn for the killer deal!!

Kindergaten Bound

Today was Degan's last day of preschool with Ms. Gerilyn!! and his last day of speech with Ms. Wilson! The funny thing is, he thought he was starting kindergarten the very next day and was fully prepared to catch the bus with Dillon that next morning!! He had so much fun in preschool & made lots of new friends, Oh and learned a little too! I will miss his funny stories about all the other kids in his class especially the ones about Meagan! Degan also made good progress in speech this year and probably won't need to go back next year!! I'm so proud of Degan and can't believe that after one short summer he will get to go to the "BIG" school! I better stock up on tissues now!!
